This page has been set up in memory of Ted White, who was a loving husband, dad and grandad. We know his friends and family miss him greatly. While we can't replace Ted, we appreciate you may wish to provide a donation in his memory. We have chosen Maggie's charity for family and friends to support if they wish. 

Maggie's have several centres across the UK providing support for those suffering with cancer.

While Ted was unwell, he would often read and rest in Maggie's Centre while waiting for treatment at Southampton General. When receiving treatment for cancer, hospital visits can span many hours, and the Maggie's Centre offers a respite from the hospital's clinical environment. Ted was made to feel very welcome in a calm environment. The centre also welcomed Justeen and his granddaughter, Imogen, while they were waiting where they could take part in activities, such as, meeting the therapy dog or doing crafts. 

Ted would always take packets of biscuits for the Maggie's Centre, so we think he'd be pleased we chose this charity.
